Dr. Jessica Beckerman is a health justice advocate who works for rapid, universal access to care. She is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Muso, which collaborates with governments to design, test, and scale evidence-based health systems that deliver care with speed. Muso's 500+ person team collaborates with two Ministries of Health to provide care in Mali and Côte d'Ivoire and supports the countries' national community health efforts to deliver health systems impact for their citizens. Communities Muso serves have achieved 10x increases in care and sustained child mortality rates lower than that of any country in sub-Saharan Africa. Muso's impact has been featured by The Atlantic, Forbes, The Guardian, The New York Times, National Public Radio, the BBC World Service, and The Financial Times. Jessica completed her BA at Brown University, her medical degree at the University of California San Francisco, and her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. The recipient of the 2021 Charles Bronfman Award for global humanitarian service, Jessica has also served as a Fulbright Scholar and a Rainer Arnhold Fellow.
