Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Power Living Enterprises, training people in an integrated "whole-person" approach to leadership and success at work and life. She has coached over 2,500 client-hours, moderated over 100 events, and produced over 300 virtual and in-person professional development, wellness and mindfulness programmes with organizations such as Bloomberg Media and the National Institutes of Health. As biographer for 101-year-old historical icon and yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch, she co-authored two award-winning books and spent eight years curating one-of-a-kind events at places like the Pentagon, United Nations, Age of Happiness Festival in Montenegro and World Government Summit in Dubai. They did 66 events in 10 countries and were featured in Athleta's Power of She campaign for their work inspiring women and girls. Kennedy has taught yoga and meditation for 20 years and is a National Spokesperson for the American Heart Association. An advocate for human potential, she led the Young PWR Brokers, teaching self-esteem skills to girls; founded the Ta Yoga House, the first yoga studio in Harlem, NY; and created Elder Dignity to transform views on aging and reform the adult guardianship system in the U.S. Early career, she founded VH1 Interactive and VH1@Work Radio Network, and was Vice-President of Business Development & Operations for MTV Networks where she managed a 200-person operation and launched six digital cable networks. At 20 years old, Kennedy consulted with Fortune 500 companies and wrote case studies on operations strategy at Harvard Business School. She has been in various media, including CNN and Oprah's book Live Your Best Life! Kennedy has a dual BA in Sociology and Studio Art from Wellesley College, an MBA from Harvard, a PhD in World Religions, and executive education in Global Leadership and Public Policy. An American, she was born in Ghana, started school in Australia and studied design in Italy.
